Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to details and technical ability to implement report automation is a preferred requirement for this position.\nKey job responsibilities\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements\nFP&A: knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes; develop financial models to support strategic planning and business reviews.\nMonth-End & Year-End Close: Manage end-to-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany eliminations.\nBusiness Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights, identify cost optimization opportunities, and support operational decision-making.\nProcess Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.\nCompliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.\nReporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to provide visibility into business performance.\nAd Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses on cost drivers, revenue trends, and profitability to support leadership in making informed decisions.\nBasic qualifications\n- 6+ years of finance experience\n- 2+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience\n- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills\nPreferred qualifications\n- Can demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills\n- Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
