Requirements:

  • Good experience in backend/product engineering, with strong exposure to data-intensive systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with backend frameworks, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data pipelines, SQL, and data processing.
  • Experience building products for financial services, fintech, investment management, hedge funds, trading, or other data-heavy B2B environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in high-ownership startup or product environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.
  • Someone who thinks beyond "writing code" and takes complete ownership of the product outcome.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with demanding business/investment users.
  • Someone who has worked on complex B2B/B2C products involving backend + data, understands the importance of accuracy and reliability in financial workflows, and is comfortable taking a problem from idea to build to production customer impact.
  • High ownership, strong technical depth, and a product mindset are critical for this role.
