Learning Specialist, EU E2E Learning, Central Programs

Do you want to shape how hundreds of people learn, grow, and do their best work? As our Learning Specialist, you won't just build training, you'll own the strategy behind it: designing, governing, and optimizing the learning ecosystem across multiple functions, solving real business problems, and designing learning that scales across teams and countries.

This is a role for someone who loves both the creative side of learning and the rigor of getting things done. You'll independently lead complex learning programs from idea to launch, design scalable solutions to problems where the answer isn't obvious yet, and partner with senior leaders to turn business priorities into learning that actually moves the needle. You'll set the "what" and the "how" that our Learning Coordinators bring to life, and you'll raise the bar on our methodology and standards along the way.

Key job responsibilities

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Design & Program Management

- Own the full ADDIE lifecycle for assigned functions, designing solutions that scale across multiple teams and delivering high-quality training content.

- Apply expertise in adult learning theories and instructional design to solve complex learning problems where the problem is understood but the solution is not.

- Design and implement innovative learning solutions across multiple modalities (digital, classroom, experiential, self-paced, blended).

- Plan, launch, and manage end-to-end learning programs, owning scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables from concept to rollout.

- Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities, keeping stakeholders informed with clear status, ETAs, and success metrics.

- Provide support and mentoring to Learning Coordinators across ES and UK.

Project Management & Delivery

- Lead learning projects using structured project management practices (planning, RACI, dependency and risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery tracking).

- Maintain project governance mechanisms (trackers, dashboards, and reporting cadences) to ensure visibility and on-time delivery.

- Anticipate blockers and dependencies, build contingency plans, and drive projects to closure with clear owners and deadlines.

Continuous Improvement

- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to raise the quality and efficiency of learning programs and processes.

- Establish feedback loops (surveys, focus groups, defect and performance data) to systematically identify opportunities and implement improvement actions.

- Use data to prioritize improvements, define success metrics, and measure impact, driving measurable gains in learner experience and business outcomes.

- Standardize and document processes (SOPs, templates, reusable frameworks) to ensure sustainability and scalability.

Standards Ownership

- Own and evolve training standards, ensuring consistent quality across the learning ecosystem.

- Create engaging content that drives participant retention and knowledge application.

- Embed instructional design best practices and quality controls (e.g. Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick evaluation) as the baseline for quality audits.

Stakeholder Partnership

- Act as the strategic learning partner to function leaders, translating business priorities into learning roadmaps.

- Partner with org-level stakeholders to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities, and drive delivery.

- Work with partners across Europe to ensure alignment with best practices, processes, and technology.

- Lead change management for new programs and process changes, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.

Data-Driven Governance

- Define learning metrics and conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify knowledge gaps.

- Develop evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness and present insights and recommendations to leadership.

- Monitor program performance against targets, report trends, and translate data into action.

A day in the life

No two days look the same on the EU E2E Learning team, Central Programs, and that's part of the fun. One moment you're digging into program metrics, spotting a dip in a function's training scores and designing a scalable new module to close the gap; the next you're partnering with a function leader to turn a business priority into a learning roadmap. You'll mentor Learning Coordinators across ES and UK to bring your programs to life, jump between multiple projects, and get ahead of risks before they become blockers. AI is part of how you work every day: you'll use it to design content faster, analyze feedback and performance data for insights, evaluate learning objectives against business needs, and pilot new formats like interactive simulations and audio guides that make learning stick. Along the way you'll apply continuous improvement thinking to make the team a little faster and better every quarter, and you'll turn data into a clear story of impact for leadership. Some days you'll be deep in creative design work, others you'll be influencing senior stakeholders or championing how AI can transform the way our whole team learns and delivers. About the team

The EU E2E Learning, Central Programs team is the learning and development engine for central functions across all three miles (first, middle, and last). We own the end-to-end learning journey, from Day 1 onboarding for new joiners through continuous development for tenured employees, so every person we support is ready to deliver from day one and keeps growing in their role. Alongside this, we set and evolve learning standards, audit standard operating procedures, and measure training effectiveness, all with a data-driven, continuous improvement mindset (increasingly powered by AI) to raise the bar on the learner experience and scale our impact across the central functions we serve.

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Business Administration

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

- Experience managing training/learning related projects or programs

- Experience in formulating and implementing training strategies, policies, and procedures for standardisation and delivery of training methodology throughout the organisation

Preferred qualifications

- Master's degree or equivalent

- Experience with instructional design, curriculum architecture, or training program development

- Experience using business metrics and training data to track, trend, and manage the impact of training efforts

- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), or experience with multimedia content creation

- L&D certification by recognized body (e.g. CIPD)

- Experience in instructional design tools (e.g. Storyline, Camtasia)

- Experience with Experimental Design & Research
