We want individuals who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.\nBasic qualifications\n- 7+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience\n- Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.\n- Valid Driver’s license and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria.\n- Must be willing and able to work with powered lift equipment, i.e. forklifts and aerial lifts at heights > 80’.\n- With or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to lift up to 49 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience working with and managing third party vendors\n- Advanced mechanical ability in refrigeration troubleshooting, compressed air troubleshooting, and specialized test equipment troubleshooting experience.\n- Minimum 5 years working in Clean Room environments.\n- Experience installing, connecting, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems including knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL508A.\n- Experience with industrial controls equipment including PCs, PLCs, IP networking, pneumatics, sensors, wiring diagrams, etc.\n- Can read, interpret, and execute electrical schematics and drawings to aide in expedite troubleshooting through repairs.\n- Experience assembling and commissioning custom machinery including compressors, refrigeration systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, process chilled water and LN2 & GN2 systems.\n- Experience setting up and maintaining a workshop in a development and high-speed production environment.\n- Ability to work across teams to develop clear and concise communications in both verbal and written forms.\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
