The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monitoring team attendance and workflow, working closely with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager to identify and resolve any issues that may arise. The work schedule is the back end RTS shift, from Wednesday to Saturday 16:00 - 22:30. \nAmazon Operations and Distribution is a 24/7 environment and shifts may change due to business needs.\nKey job responsibilities\n- Contribute to fostering a strong health and safety culture by ensuring adherence to relevant laws and internal policies\n- Assist in the daily oversight and management of departmental tasks\n- Conduct staff debriefs, ensuring all paperwork is accurately and thoroughly completed\n- Perform duties in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\n- Allocate tasks to staff as needed to maintain workflow and meet daily performance targets\n- Ensure adequate staffing levels for your area, including managing call outs for training, addressing absences, overseeing performance, providing coaching, and continually monitoring department productivity\n- Support the onboarding and training of new associates to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge to perform required tasks\n- Collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in tracking, analyzing, and reporting Exchange Point metrics\n- Support the Operations Shift Manager and Delivery Station Manager in identifying and understanding factors contributing to the achievement or shortfall of Exchange Point objectives\n- Monitor and report on associate hours and schedules\n- Address and resolve process-related issues within the area as needed\n- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of equipment defects\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in warehouse operations\n- Experience in logistics\n- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays\n- This role is for Back End Return to Station Shift between 16:00 - 22:00\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience managing teams\n- Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement\nAcknowledgement of country:\nIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
