Join us to lead end-to-end payroll operations where your expertise will directly impact thousands of employees across multiple countries.\nThis is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in our Prague office.\nKey job responsibilities\nDeliver end-to-end payroll processing for Germany\nExecute and enhance payroll controls (Source to Gross, Gross to Net)\nComplete standard accounting reconciliations\nResolve payroll queries\nSupport vendor relationships and performance management\nPartner with Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR, and Finance teams\nSuggest process improvements \nSupport payroll components of strategic initiatives\nDeliver on payroll part of country expansion projects\nContribute innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency\nUpkeep of payroll processes and inventory (SOPs, process maps etc.)\nRaise blockers and issues senior analysts and managers\nBasic qualifications\n- 1+ year payroll/HR experience OR 3+ years professional experience (non-payroll /HR)\n- Excellent customer service orientation\n- Fluency in English\nPreferred qualifications\n- Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labour code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations)\n- Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software\n- Advanced user of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)\n- Strong analytical and statistical capabilities\n- Experience with root cause analysis\n- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
