We have provided customers with the ability to find transparent and simple pricing, receive 24/7 customer service support, and have their meds delivered to their\ndoorsteps while creating programs and products that embody our mission and position\nourselves in becoming the world’s safest and fastest online pharmacy.\nWe are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy!\n#everydaybetter\nKey job responsibilities\nAssist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy\nMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations\nWork daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packets\nRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications\nFill exception trays with appropriate medication\nTransition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control\nCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items\nPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes\nSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time\nAid the distribution manager and distribution pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing\nClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas\nPackage medications for dispensing and for delivery\nWork a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hours Physical Requirements:\nDuring shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary)\nStanding, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching\nLifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight\nManual dexterity of hands and wrists\nBasic qualifications\n- High school diploma or equivalent\n- Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License or ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License through the State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of start date, if required by State Board of Pharmacy\n- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools\n- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.\n- Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels.\nPreferred qualifications\n- National Pharmacy technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)\n- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member\n- Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail\n- Ability to recognize and identify patient medications\n- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools\n- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
