Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to educate policymakers, government officials and NGOs on critical issues related to data centers, such as energy and water use, and community benefits. \nKey job responsibilities\nThe Policy Manager role will work directly with the Vice President of AWS Public Policy on data center, infrastructure expansion, energy, national security and public sector policy and regulatory issues at Amazon. The role with help drive external engagement on data center infrastructure issues with federal, state and local policymakers, including site visits and other policymaker education programs. The role will support the VP for AWS Public Policy to drive company priorities in key industry associations and coalitions, and also help develop policy content and strategies for messaging to policy makers, government officials and other key stakeholders on data center, energy and national security topics.
