AWS Machine Learning accelerators are at the forefront of AWS\ninnovation. The Inferentia chip delivers best-in-class ML inference performance at the lowest\ncost in cloud. Trainium will deliver the best-in-class ML training performance with the most\nteraflops (TFLOPS) of compute power for ML in the cloud. This is all enabled by our software\nstack, the AWS Neuron Software Development Kit (SDK), which includes an ML compiler,\nruntime and natively integrates into popular ML frameworks including PyTorch. In this role, you\nwill be the external face of AWS in ML hardware acceleration, combining deep technical\nexpertise, strategic vision, and authentic community engagement to drive awareness, trust, and\nadoption of Trainium and the Neuron SDK across the global ML developer ecosystem.\nIdeally, you come from a software engineering, ML research, or systems performance\nbackground - but you love being on stage, on screen, or in the open-source community guiding\ndevelopers toward technologies you believe in. You have immediate credibility with ML\npractitioners, researchers, and performance engineers. You are excited about open-source AI,\nhardware-software co-design, and the future of ML infrastructure. You exhibit strong judgment\nin selecting strategic opportunities and can operate with full independence across multiple\ntechnical communities\nKey job responsibilities\nCreating and maintaining relevant content (demos, videos, blogs, podcasts, livestreams, etc),\ncovering AWS Trainium and the Neuron SDK along with emerging technologies and industry\ndevelopments.\nGaining industry recognition and credibility as a regular attendee and speaker at third party\ntechnology conferences, shows and press events.\nCurating, developing and delivering compelling presentations to help drive awareness and\nadoption of AWS Trainium.\nMaintaining a credible presence in social media\nAbility to travel (including internationally when needed) and ability to work autonomously\nA day in the life\nAs a technical champion, you'll create and deliver content that makes Trainium and the Neuron\nSDK accessible, credible, and compelling to ML developers worldwide - from getting-started\ntutorials to deep-dive kernel optimization guides. As a community builder, you'll engage with\nML practitioners, researchers, and performance engineers to understand their challenges,\nrepresent their voice internally, and translate community insights into product roadmap impact.\nAs an ecosystem strategist, you'll build long-term partnerships with key open-source projects and\ncommunities, co-develop integrations, and ensure Trainium is a visible and credible option\nwherever ML developers make hardware decisions.\nAbout the team\nThe Amazon Annapurna Labs team is a responsible for building innovation in silicon and\nsoftware for AWS customers. We are at the forefront of innovation by combining cloud scale\nwith the world’s most talented engineers. Our team covers multiple disciplines including silicon\nengineering, hardware design and verification, software and operations.
