The scope of these initiatives is diverse - from optimization of catalog processes, vendor onboarding, procurement requisition compliance checks, consumables inventory planning, and ordering, to projects that support our Procurement global talent upskilling efforts.\nKey job responsibilities\nLead process improvement initiatives and projects at regional and/or multi-regional scale.\nDeputise for the team manager when required, ensuring continuity of operations.\nServe as subject matter expert on related operational processes: vendor onboarding, catalog management, procurement requisition compliance checks, inventory planning, invoice resolution, and purchasing operations.\nPerform weekly and monthly business reviews.\nEnsure adherence to Amazon's global spend policy and drive compliance with Procurement policies and procedures.\nBuild and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with primary internal customers (local Operations leadership), external suppliers, and other teams within the respective market.\nDrive effective delivery of metrics by leading and supporting projects and initiatives; identify root causes of issues and develop corrective actions.\nSupport the development of new standards, procedures, and solutions for procurement operations.\nPartner with other procurement leaders and teams on local or regional projects and initiatives.\nContribute to the achievement of Procurement's annual targets\nProvide training and mentorship to team members for career development and growth.\nAbout the team\nThe Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) team operates across Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC), delivering operational support and programme management to Amazon's Global Procurement Organisation (GPO). Whether you are optimising vendor onboarding workflows, supporting talent development programmes, or driving regional transformation initiatives, you will be part of a team that is committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in the following procurement domains: Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, and/or Shipping Supplies\n- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups\n- Experience with process improvement, Kaizan, and Six Sigma, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain or engineering\nPreferred qualifications\n- Master's degree or above in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics\n- Speak, write, and read fluently in English and an European language (preferable Spanish, Italian, German or French)\n- PMP, CIPS or APICS certification.\n- 2+ years of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots, macros and V-Lookups experience\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
