The Amazon Alexa International team is looking for a Product Manager to own and shape the Alexa experience for customers in Spain. In this role, you will contribute to the product vision and roadmap for Alexa in the Spanish marketplace - identifying customer opportunities, setting priorities, and driving execution across a complex, cross-functional landscape. You will work backwards from Spanish customers to determine what a truly delightful, locally relevant personal assistant experience looks like, and then make it happen.
In this role, you will define ambiguous problems, shape goals from customer insight and data, and design solutions that scale. You will make high-judgment calls with incomplete information, navigate technical trade-offs alongside engineering partners, and balance near-term delivery against long-term architectural integrity. You will take calculated risks in pursuit of ambitious outcomes - and own the results.

Key job responsibilities
- Support the product development of Alexa in Spain: define the what and why, not just the how, working backwards from Spanish customer needs and market dynamics
- Work in the product roadmap end-to-end: identify opportunities, prioritize effectively, and deliver measurable customer experience improvements
- Navigate ambiguity; problems and approach may not be defined. Use expertise, customer insight, and data to determine the right goals and design long-term solutions
- Be the Voice of the Customer: conduct or commission customer research, usability studies, and market analysis to distinguish representative signal from anecdotal feedback across the Spanish customer base
- Drive data-informed decisions: define success metrics, analyze data and customer behaviour, and identify the highest-leverage opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, science, design, localization, marketing, legal, and operations teams: influence without authority to build alignment across teams with different priorities
- Own launches and post-launch performance: drive awareness, adoption, and continuous optimization of the Alexa experience
- Contribute to organizational planning: participate in strategic planning, write narratives and drive product discussions with Senior Managers and Directors
- Evaluate technical trade-offs: understand how technology choices influence customer outcomes, ask the right questions, and balance feature delivery with sustainability

About the team
This role is part of the Alexa International organization, which develops and supports the Alexa experience across all international markets. You will operate within the European team, working closely with country teams across Europe while contributing to the Spanish marketplace roadmap. The team is passionate about building locally relevant, delightful experiences powered by AI technology.
Location for this role is in Madrid.
Basic qualifications
- Experience with product localization and building locally relevant customer experiences
- Experience applying GenAI tools (e.g., coding assistants, AI agents) to accelerate delivery and/or improve quality
- Native-level (C2) fluency in written and verbal Spanish including cultural fluency, including regional humour, tone, idiom, and social context
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with voice/AI products, conversational interfaces, or natural language technologies
- Speak, write, and read fluently in other EU languages
- Experience in process automation, and tool development using AI
