This role will provide regional support for either Singapore (SG)/Japan (JP), Mexico (MX), or Europe (EU). The Program Manager will be accountable for managing risk directly by collaborating with Risk Specialists to perform customer due diligence, Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification, Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) investigations, and enforcement actions, and by collaborating with the second line of defense (2LoD) on regulatory filing across their respective regions. The Program Manager will own the day-to-day controls and is the single-threaded owner for compliance outcomes in their regions.\nKey job responsibilities\nDefine and maintain the operating cadence, SLAs, and quality bar for KYC and SAM within the assigned region. \nEstablish and drive mechanisms to measure and improve control effectiveness, working across Compliance Officers, Machine Learning Scientists, and Engineering teams to refine and continuously improve evaluations. \nCollaborate with Risk Specialist Operations teams to investigate alerts and escalations, document findings, and determine filing requirements in parallel with 2LoD. \nPartner with 2LoD regional compliance, legal, product, operations, and compliance officers to represent regional compliance status in business and risk reviews. \nOwn regional compliance metrics and reporting, surfacing risk trends and gaps with recommended remediation actions.\nBasic qualifications\n- 3+ years of program or project management experience\n- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience\n- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience\n- Bachelor's degree\n- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL\n- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements\n- Experience across the domain of risk management & compliance operations\nPreferred qualifications\n- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience\n- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience\n- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization\n- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
