Key job responsibilities

You will collaborate with different internal stakeholders to learn how to improve a program’s offering and its benefits for our customers. This internship provides an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate project management skills in a competitive and dynamic business climate.

You will work on one or several projects with your hiring team in tracking open actions, conduct deep dives, provide data insights, analyse processes to identify critical points and anticipate risks.

You will support the team in recommending and executing network improvements.

You will contribute with innovative long-term and lasting solutions beneficial for the entire team

A day in the life

Every day is different as a Program Manager Intern. You'll work alongside your dedicated mentor and team on real improvement and innovation projects that support the growth of Amazon's European network. You might spend your morning analysing a large dataset to identify operational bottlenecks, then spend your afternoon aligning with stakeholders across different countries on a project rollout plan. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, track project milestones, and share updates with senior management.

Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter which project you are working on, part of your role will involve extracting insights from data to drive decisions. You'll develop solutions to real operational challenges, test different approaches, and present your findings to leadership - building your analytical, communication, and project management skills in a fast-paced, international environment.

Internship Start Dates across the year:

We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2027. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

Basic qualifications

- Speak, write, and read fluently in Italian and English at C1 level or above

- Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree with an anticipated graduation date after the completion of your internship.

- Available to commence an internship between January and September 2027. Yes, our start dates are flexible! You should then be available for 3 to 6 months, full time (40h/week). Internship length is subject to availability

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. macros, pivots, lookups, VBA)

- You must have the right to work in the country of employment.

- You will be based in Milano for the duration of the internship. A relocation package may be offered, subject to an eligibility criteria

- Relevant studies Engineering, Project Management, Business Management or similar discipline

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.

- Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon's package may include further pay components where applicable. Your recruiting team will share final salary, depending on requirements.

In addition to statutory benefits, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
