You’ll build, test, and learn alongside people who want to see you succeed, while making an impact that reaches far beyond campus. \nKey job responsibilities\nWork backwards from the customer, identifying inputs to grow Amazon's most strategic brands and improve their performance within a retail category. \nSupport vendor managers in providing a suite of services designed to help brands succeed, collaborating with cross-functional teams including in-stock and marketing. \nDevelop analytical and problem-solving skills by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to drive category performance. \nBuild an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value across retail, advertising, and merchant services. \nIdentify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence to support business growth. \nIdentify opportunities to improve products, services, processes, systems, and tools across the business. \nWork with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects, including category teams, product teams, and technical support teams. \nA day in the life\nEvery day is a little different as a Retail Vendor Manager Intern. Working alongside a vendor manager, you'll learn how Amazon handles its e-commerce retail business across product categories - from books to fashion, electronics to grocery, and everything in between. You might spend your morning analysing category performance data and identifying growth opportunities for strategic brands, then spend your afternoon working with marketing or in-stock teams to implement an improvement project that enhances the customer shopping experience. \nAmazon is a customer-obsessed business, so no matter which retail category you join, part of your role will involve working backwards from the customer to identify what matters most. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.\nBasic qualifications\n- Speak, write, and read fluently in English\n- Currently in your penultimate year and working towards a Bacherlor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, E-Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.\n- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.\n- Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) and commit to 3 to 12 month internship maximum\n- You must have the right to work in the country of employment.\n- You will be based in London for the duration of the internship.
