We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated expertise in UK /EU regulated financial services company to join the UK Risk team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that Amazon complies with local and global legal and compliance requirements, using a pragmatic approach to balance risk management guidance against competing priorities. You will also help drive the adoption of Agentic AI and emerging AI-powered tools to enhance risk identification, monitoring, and remediation capabilities. You will join a team that partners across the organization to shape the future of Amazon’s evolving risk and compliance programs and where we value ownership, insight, intellectual flexibility, and sound business judgment.\nKey job responsibilities\n(1) Contribute to the risk management program for the UK / EU licensed entities (payments, insurance distribution, and credit broking), including:\nRoadmap delivery, including embedding of risk management mechanisms and support for change management (e.g. product launches etc.);\nMonitoring of risk exposure versus entity risk appetite, with escalation as appropriate;\nFacilitate detailed, data driven narratives to inform leadership/Board members of risk levels, mitigations, and impacts;\nIncident response support. (2) Develop the risk management framework, including development of policies, procedures, toolkits, and other governance documents as necessary:\nBusiness Continuity / Operational Resilience;\nProduct Risk Assessment/Material Changes to Business Products;\nLeveraging AI-driven tooling (e.g., intelligent agents, automated workflows, and GenAI-powered analytics) to scale framework effectiveness and reduce manual overhead.
