You will quantify the business impact of evolving trade regulations and partner with teams to design operational frameworks that leverage trade mechanisms to reduce cost exposure while enabling their strategic objectives.\nKey job responsibilities\n- Translate the impacts of new trade guidelines, tariff changes, and regulatory developments into concrete, quantifiable business impact to Amazon\n- Develop end-to-end data traceability from sourcing through customs to fulfillment and financial reporting\n- Design scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and trade-off evaluation frameworks to support strategic trade decisions; surface risks and opportunities to leadership with exposure assessments and recommendations\n- Partner with business organizations to influence trade strategy and sourcing decisions\nBasic qualifications\n- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent\n- Experience handling confidential information\nPreferred qualifications\n- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience\n- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials\n- Experience with SQL and Excel\n- Working knowledge of trade instruments and ability to distill regulatory developments (e.g., Section 301/232, AD/CVD, executive orders) into actionable recommendations for non-trade stakeholders\n- Experience modeling the financial impact of trade policy shifts - landed cost, duty exposure, scenario analysis\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
