We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.\nWe are looking for a motivated technician who enjoys working in a team. The job is about maintaining our equipment in a safe way to a high standard. Focusing on planned preventative maintenance you will engage in mitigation of risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues. Raising the availability and quality of the equipment is the daily job. Our technicians focus in on our operational team, their customers, with support from the team and their leaders.\nShift Pattern: This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends\nKey job responsibilities\nPut health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.\nReact quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.\nSupport continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.\nProvide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.\nSupport and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.\nManagement of contractors.\nBasic qualifications\n- NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3/EAL Level 3 all specialized in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics\n- 4 years UK certified apprenticeship\n- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship\n- SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship\n- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays\n- Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards\n- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
