The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the FICO module to support our financial accounting and management accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Finance, with a strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and finance processes, including cost planning and actual costing. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to design, configure, and support SAP solutions that drive financial transparency and operational efficiency.\nKey job responsibilities\n* Lead business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with finance stakeholders to understand complex business needs.\n* Design and architect robust, scalable, and compliant SAP FICO solutions, developing comprehensive blueprints and roadmaps from design to delivery.\n* Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).\n* Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and other core modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PS (Project Systems), and PP (Production Planning).\n* Oversee RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) developments, collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional specifications.\n* Develop and manage data migration strategies, assisting with the extraction, transformation, and loading of financial data from legacy systems.\n* Lead and support all project testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and data integrity.\n* Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.\n* Plan and deliver end-user training sessions and provide post-go-live support to ensure smooth system adoption and resolve issues promptly.\n* Ensure the designed solutions comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations, such as US GAAP and IFRS.\nBasic qualifications\n- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience\n- 3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience\n- 3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience\n- Bachelor's degree\n- Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP FICO module, with a strong emphasis on financial accounting and management accounting processes.\n- Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting concepts.\n- Functional knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO).\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries\n- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud\n- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective\n- Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), industry regulations, and internal control frameworks.\n- Knowledge of advanced financial reporting and consolidation processes.\n- Familiarity with tax and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions (for multinational organizations).\n- Certification in SAP FICO (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting) is preferred.\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
