The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role. \nKey job responsibilities\nSupporting aspects of our accounting and reporting process.\nEnd-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners.\nUnderstand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.\nExecute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.\nDrive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis\n- Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes\n- ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required\n- Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS\nPreferred qualifications\n- Excellent analytical skills\n- Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or complex company\n- Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges\n- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills\n- Experience working with Oracle\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
