This individual will lead due diligence and integration planning and execution efforts for Amazon's acquisitions. \nThe role ranges from working with executive business sponsors to define key value drivers for potential acquisitions, implementing actionable plans to achieve transaction objectives, to diving deep on tactical aspects of integration projects in need of extra attention. Integration managers oversee and influence cross-functional diligence and integration teams to ensure all relevant tasks are completed. Stakeholder groups include acquiring business and technology teams, HR, tax, branding, customer service, real estate, legal, finance, security, open source, accounting, and communications. \nThis role will lead cross-functional initiatives both before and after acquisition. Successful integration managers at Amazon are self-starters, able to work autonomously, natural problem solvers, collaborative, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity. This role is located in Seattle.\nKey job responsibilities\n- Lead multiple integration projects simultaneously\n- Organize and lead the acquisition due diligence process to identify integration needs and create integration plans while ensuring Amazon maintains appropriate rigor throughout the diligence process\n- Define, track and communicate appropriate performance measurements to project team and stakeholders\n- Work with functional area managers to align resources to integration plans\n- Communicate project priority and set project task priority for related teams\n- Prepare appropriate documentation to close out integration projects and facilitate effective hand-offs\n- Participate in the continuous improvement of Amazon's integration processes and best practices\nBasic qualifications\n- 5+ years of professional or military experience\n- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience\n- 5+ years of complex cross-functional change management experience\n- Bachelor's degree\n- Experience writing strategy documents for executive audiences with clear recommendations in the midst of ambiguity\nPreferred qualifications\n- 5+ years of management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or a related industry experience\n- Experience in post-close integration\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
