Senior Product Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Product Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python Full Stack Development to build scalable, cloud-native applications and modern web platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing backend services using Python and Flask, building responsive frontend applications with TypeScript/JavaScript, and deploying applications on AWS using modern DevOps practices. The role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to design, build, and deliver highly available, secure, and performant applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Flask.
• Build responsive, reusable, and modern user interfaces using TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
• Build cloud-native applications and deploy them on AWS.
• Design scalable software architectures with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while following engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and Flask.
• Strong frontend development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js .
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised deployments.
• Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and observability tools.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS or Product-based applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
