As a PCA you are a trusted advisor to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address customer challenges. As a technical SME, you will share knowledge within the organization, through mentoring, training, creation of reusable artifacts and process improvements.\nYour experience in designing technical solutions within the technology/consulting sector, will equip you with the ability to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer, translating technical concepts into business value. Your success as a PCA will be linked to impacting the signing of SOWs, and the successful implementation of solutions which achieve CBOs while exceeding customer satisfaction (CSAT) expectations.\nThe AWS Professional Services organisation is a global team of experts that help customers realise their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.\nKey job responsibilities\nDesigning complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)\nProviding technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phases\nCollaborating with Account Executives and Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable\nActing as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies\nSharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience as technical specialist in design and architecture\n- Experience in database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)\n- Experience in consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions\n- Experience in software development with object oriented language\n- Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system\n- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments\n- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients\nPreferred qualifications\n- Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape\n- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS, or experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP)\n- Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders\n- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets\n- Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
