Explain our progress and present simplified explanations of technical issues to project managers and other non-technical leaders.\n- Work on the edge of the technological frontier, develop novel solutions, and take measured risks when necessary.\nA day in the life\nAs an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and debug complex modern robotic systems. The development process will involve participating in design discussions, brainstorming novel approaches to the hardest problems in robotics, and implementing new product concepts and features. Testing efforts will involve writing automated tests to validate newly created features or conducting live testing to debug and root cause issues.\nBasic qualifications\n- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience\n- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience\n- 4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience\n- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team\n- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field\n- 5+ years of development experience in C or C++ within an embedded environment or with some aspect of robotic systems.
