We are hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead security engineering for our robot platform. They want to build a new kind of device and are excited about the challenges and opportunities in bringing it into our lives.\nKey job responsibilities\n- Own security engineering for Fauna's robot platform: boot chain, operating system, on-device software, and updates \n- Build security into the robot's OS and software: secure boot, OS hardening, service isolation and access control, and on-device secrets \n- Design how the robot handles what it senses, including on-device processing and data minimization \n- Build secure defaults into the robot's shared libraries and its build and release pipeline \n- Lead secure design and review of Fauna's cloud services in partnership with Amazon's security and privacy teams \n- Lead incident response for the robot platform and drive fixes to root cause \nAbout the team\nFauna Robotics, an Amazon company, is building capable, safe, and genuinely delightful robots for everyday life.
