You will become a subject matter expert on the Leo ground system design and will be called upon frequently as such to support critical troubleshooting activities. You will help develop and will work extensively with the Gateway terminal test systems to validate supplier product updates relative to site deployment and troubleshoot system issues.\nAbout the team\nThe Ground Systems team is responsible for the architecture, design, build, and installation of Leo's Ground and TT&C Gateways. Our Ground Gateways enable high data rate, low latency communications between Leo points of presence and our Low Earth Orbit Satellite constellation. The team works closely with Ground Infrastructure Services, Networks, Regulatory, Payload Test, and RF Systems teams to ensure Leo provides a seamless customer experience.\nBasic qualifications\n- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering\n- 4+ years in integration and test and/or product verification and validation roles\n- 2+ years using RF and Network test equipment associated with SATCOM communications\n- 2+ years in development and deployment of automated tests\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience in development, integration, and commissioning of Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) or Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication systems, especially with respect to Ka-band satellite ground station equipment such as parabolic full-motion antennas, RF equipment, modem, and site support equipment.\n- Experience with communication system test equipment such as Vector Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators, Power Supplies, and Oscilloscopes\n- Experience with identification, development, and deployment of design for scale product improvements including maintaining configuration control discipline\n- Experience supporting system engineering development efforts including meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals\n- Experience with software languages such as Python and analytics software such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Grafana\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
