If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.\nAs a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center team, you will serve as the bridge between centralized Procurement and the building leadership. You will own the site’s indirect procurement operation responsibilities at a site level, including vendor management of 3rd party service providers, purchase order management, and inventory management. You will lead supplier management KPI and metrics reporting, and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. You will provide procurement leadership and align with the building leadership team to drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s).\nKey job responsibilities\nProvide procurement operations support for fulfillment centers, including managing suppliers (goods and services), non-inventory labor, flow and space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transactions.\nEnsure compliance with organizational KPIs, working with the non-inventory team to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes.\nDevelop expertise in non-inventory items and collaborate with similar buildings to implement best practices.\nBuild relationships across the network, ensuring the sharing and implementation of best practices. This includes training teams such as Operations, Loss Prevention, PXT, Transportation, Facilities Management, and Safety on procurement processes.\nWork with internal teams, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets and establish methods for measuring savings, value, and category metrics.\nAssist Finance and internal teams in determining budgets and managing blanket POs.\nMonitor supplier performance using tools such as supplier scorecards and Global Audit Tools for 3P suppliers. Collaborate with Category and Global Supplier Management to drive improvements across categories like janitorial, food service, pest control, landscaping, snow removal, water coolers, PPE, and waste management.\nEnsure 3P suppliers comply with site-level contracts and service terms, including SLA response times.\nTrack and measure savings performance, developing action plans to meet goals and reduce waste in FC procurement processes. Standardize best practices across the network.\nCollaborate with both internal teams and suppliers to develop innovative procurement solutions that support Operations.\nImplement methods to track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.\nPartner with AP, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve vendor payment issues promptly.\nSupport Procure-to-Pay execution and local sourcing activities to meet business needs.\nAssist the centralized Procurement team (GPCS) and Global Procurement Organization (GPO) pillars, including ProcOps, Category, Supplier Diversity, Supplier Management, Procurement Excellence, Reusables, Technology, and PMO.\nWork in a warehouse environment, requiring frequent walking and adaptability to varying temperatures due to open dock doors.\nBasic qualifications\n- 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience\n- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience\n- 3+ years of supply chain experience\n- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience\n- Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience in procurement\n- Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
