# Software Development Engineer, AWS Direct Connect

AWS Direct Connect is available in more than 150 locations across more than 45 countries, and it connects AWS to our largest customers in data centers around the world. We are building a new software engineering team in Dublin, working side by side with the Direct Connect network engineering team in the same office. You will build and operate the systems that keep Direct Connect customers healthy: data pipelines that analyze network traffic at scale to spot when a customer's traffic is degraded, services that identify which customers are impacted by a network event and keep them informed, and AI agents that automate how engineers handle operational tickets.
