The team manages 40+ distinct accounting scenarios per country, encompassing inventory custody transitions across both forward fulfillment and reverse logistics flows. \nExport Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. \nKey job responsibilities\nKey Job Responsibilities:\n*Design and deliver a scalable, end-to-end platform supporting LEO commerce logistics operations across global markets.\n*Design and implement distributed orchestration systems that coordinate across dozens of domain-specific internal and external services, ensuring reliable end-to-end workflow execution at scale.\n*Establish the AI/ML foundation layer, including knowledge base architectures and intelligent automation frameworks, to accelerate developer productivity and reduce time-to-market for new country launches.\n*Tackle novel, ambiguous technical challenges at the intersection of artificial intelligence, large-scale distributed systems, and financial domain complexity, delivering production-grade solutions with high operational bar.\nA day in the life\nAs a Software Development Engineer (SDE II) on the Inventory Accounting team, you will own the design, development, and cross team collaboration of end-to-end e-commerce lifecycle systems, spanning requirements definition, implementation, financial configuration, test automation, and production validation.
