That means setting clear expectations, coaching engineers as they grow, and building a strong bench of technical talent. You will own the technical direction and roadmap for the foundational mobile services and frameworks used across the Amazon Shopping app. You'll also drive architecture and design decisions that balance scale, reliability, performance, and developer experience.\nYou will put operational excellence first. You'll define the metrics that matter, keep the on-call rotation healthy, and invest in automation that removes recurring operational work. You'll hold a high bar for engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, and good testing practices.\nYou will work with product managers, technical program managers, and peer engineering teams to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and deliver cross-team projects on schedule. You'll turn unclear, cross-team problems into clear plans with owners, milestones, and success metrics. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
