The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think structured about business, product, and technical challenges.\nKey job responsibilities\nYou will manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.\nYou will also:\n- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.\n- You will build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide.\n- Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.\n- You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. whitepapers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).\n- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.\n- Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.\nIf you can educate AWS customers about the art of the possible, while challenging the impossible, come build the future with us.\nA day in the life\nYou will have the opportunity to work with account managers to help customers accelerate their cloud implementation to modernize their business on AWS. Working with these customers, you will help them transform existing workloads by designing modern target architectures optimized for business agility, innovation, performance, resiliency, cost, security, and more using both native and partner solutions. \nOur teams focus on understanding customer key business drivers as well as the existing application architecture(s) to deliver a technical recommendation to the customer with a goal of designing a robust cloud architecture that can scale as their business requires.\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in design/ implementation/ consulting/ devops experience with distributed applications\n- 4+ years experience in infrastructure or software architecture, with knowledge in associated technology areas such as databases and networking.\n- Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture for technology/software sales\n- Fluency in Norwegian and English\n- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.\n- Extensive design/implementation/consulting/devops experience with distributed applications\nPreferred qualifications\n- Technical degree in Computer Science\n- Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies\n- Experience with AI/ML technologies\n- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers\n- Experience with “on-premise to cloud” migrations or IT transformations\n- Experience architecting/operating solutions for cloud.\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
