This role is a proactive technical development role, focusing on maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs.\nKey job responsibilities\nEvaluate existing MHE software configurations and identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies\nDevelop and implement optimization strategies to improve throughput, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)\nDesign software-based solutions that maximize the utilization of conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, AGVs, and other MHE assets\nCreate technical specifications and architecture documents for proposed solutions\nLead end-to-end implementation of software optimization projects from scoping through go-live\nManage system integrations between MHE controls, enterprise software (ERP/WMS), and middleware\nOversee testing, commissioning, and validation of software changes in live environments\nPartner with operations, engineering, and IT teams to understand business requirements and pain points\nPresent solution proposals, ROI analyses, and business cases to leadership\nServe as the technical liaison between vendors, integrators, and internal teams\nConduct training sessions and knowledge transfers for customer staff\nProvide 24/7 Tier 2/3 technical support for controls-related MHE issues\nContribute to long-term technology roadmaps and capital planning for MHE investments\nHandle flexible workload which may come from management or operations.\nTravel up to 70% A day in the life Amazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
