About the Team AWS Global Energy is responsible for powering the world's most demanding cloud infrastructure. The team is organized across three verticals: Global Energy Strategy (GES), which leads the development of innovative commercial structures to meet capacity demand and AWS's carbon-free energy commitments; Power Generation Solutions (PGS), the single-threaded owner for AWS power generation and energy engineering - delivering capacity solutions aligned with AWS's availability, reliability, sustainability, and redundancy requirements and managing the production readiness lifecycle of AWS-owned or commissioned generation and storage assets; and Energy Portfolio Operations (EPO), which owns Amazon's global renewable PPA portfolio and AWS CFE supply agreements. Global Energy partners closely with regional data center planning and delivery, global sustainability, and broader Amazon business units on energy procurement and infrastructure needs.
