You will be responsible for design, build and verification of custom optical metrology stations used to build, test and manufacture optical Intersatellite link systems.\nExport Control Requirement:\nDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.\nKey job responsibilities\nDesign, build and qualify optical metrology stations for build, test and manufacturing of optical Intersatellite link system.\nDevelop clear understanding of optical tests needed for qualifying optical systems\nConduct optical module design, validation test and prepare optical test engineering report for Program Reviews as requested. \nAnalyze technical problems arising in optical testing and manufacturing and develop optimal strategies for solving them. \nDevelop new and improve existing optical measurement methods, using optical metrology equipment like interferometer, camera, imaging systems, Hart-Mann sensor for optical module integration, alignment, and testing.\nWrite MATLAB/Python scripts to analyze and plot data required for stakeholder review. \nDevelop measurement process and procedures for volume manufacturing and transfer it production team.
