If you combine deep technical knowledge with sharp analytical skills and a drive for excellence, we want to talk to you.\nKey job responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership\n- Serve as subject matter expert for payroll operations across assigned countries\n- Lead payroll components in M&A and expansion projects\n- Design and implement robust control frameworks\n- Maintain compliance with local regulations\n- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge bases\nProcess Excellence\n- Drive end-to-end payroll improvement initiatives\n- Lead root cause analysis for complex payroll issues\n- Implement and optimize payroll processes\n- Support decision-making through formulating and executing financial analysis\n- Monitor and enhance operational effectiveness\nStakeholder Management\n- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders\n- Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams\n- Lead process improvement consultations\n- Drive collaborative solutions across departments\nMentoring\n- Mentor team members\nBasic qualifications\n- Experience in process improvement\n- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations\n- Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement\n- 3+ years Payroll/HR experience\n- Fluency in English and German\n- Advanced user of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)\n- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment\n- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills\n- Excellent customer service orientation\n- Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labour code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations)\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience managing projects\n- Experience working with cross-functional teams\n- 5+ years of experience in European or Middle East country payroll operations\n- We value diverse perspectives and inclusive teams.
