The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and release of our organization's web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design software solutions to meet the product requirements.
  • Develops applications focusing on the presentation layer using application programming interfaces (APIs) and microservices architecture.
  • Develops unit and automation test scripts under the test-driven development lifecycle.
  • Contributes to coding best practices and helps with code merges and releases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Related Field Preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming in Python and/or JavaScript (UI) (Angular or ReactJS) frameworks required.
  • Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Software Development Experience with Python.
  • Experience with UI modern frameworks like AngularJS or ReactJS.
  • Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and knowledge of API protocols like REST, gRPC, and graphQL.
  • Familiar with coding and testing best practices, as well as the ability to understand complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies like Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
