We tackle some of the world’s most complex supply-chain problems so our customers can innovate without limits.\nIn this team you will own core functions that drive planning automation and optimization for the 0-2 year planning horizon for AWS's rapidly growing AI/ML server footprint. You will partner with cross functional teams to deeply understand requirements for servers (power, materials, manufacturing capacity, etc.) and build forward looking plans on what we can deliver and when. Due to the quickly evolving nature of this business, requirements and designs change quickly and often involve long lead time inputs. You will partner with our tech teams to build systems that automate and optimize our planning strategies to enable scaling. Success requires exceptional judgment, a builder’s mindset, and the ability to influence at all levels-from front-line planners to VP- and SVP-level business owners.\nKey job responsibilities\nOwn the global S&OP cycle - Drive an end-to-end, weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence that aligns AWS demand signals with supply, power, and capital plans.\nDeliver a trusted signal - Produce a single source of truth that reconciles financial plans, sales & growth outlooks, NPI roadmaps, transition ramps, and prior POR commitments.\nRun executive planning forums - Frame one-way vs. two-way-door decisions, articulate trade-offs, and secure leadership alignment across AIS, EC2, S3, EBS, Finance, and Energy.\nArchitect planning systems - Guide software teams in automating demand-, supply-, and scenario-planning workflows (e.g., Connect, o9, Infor, Manhattan); own interim manual mechanisms until automation is in place.\nBuild decision frameworks - Develop constrained-planning models that surface risks and levers under power, permitting, or component shortages.\nMeasure what matters - Define KPIs and dashboards that quantify forecast accuracy, inventory turns, build-plan adherence, and capacity-delivery cycle time.\nChampion continuous improvement - Sponsor digital-transformation sprints that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and raise planning maturity across AIS.\nBasic qualifications\n- 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field\n- Experience in program or project management\n- Experience leading and collaborating with a large cross-functional team\nPreferred qualifications\n- Master's degree in a technology field\n- Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields\n- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
