Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.\nWe are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive programs across the Builder Operations, data plane platform and infrastructure services - Leo's Build and Test systems across serving over 6K developers and downstream engineering internal services to develop, build, download, and release.\nExport Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.\nKey job responsibilities\nIn this role, you will own delivery of programs spanning infrastructure adoption, de-dataplane, service compliance and security, customer feedback and roadmap planning. You will work closely with leadership to share regular progress on key projects.\nThis is an individual contributor role with broad cross-organizational influence. You will partner closely with embedded software engineers, cloud service developers, and test automation teams to deliver a platform that satellite software teams depend on daily. Your technical depth, program management fundamentals, and ability to influence without authority will enable you to drive alignment and help teams deliver faster with higher quality.\nBasic qualifications\n- 3+ years of software development experience\n- 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience\n- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules\n- Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements\n- 5+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience, or AWS Professional level certification\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience with Linux operating system, embedded systems, consumer devices, or mobile apps\n- Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS\n- Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments\n- Experience in software-testing techniques (like equivalence class partitioning), and software testing life cycle\n- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership\n- Familiarity with satellite systems, flight software, or aerospace development environments\n- Track record of building mechanisms that improved cross-team coordination and reduced recurring operational failures\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
