We are a team of highly motivated, engaged, and responsive professionals who enable the core sustainable infrastructure of AWS - powering thousands of businesses across more than 190 countries.\nThe Data Center Sourcing & Procurement (DCSP) team is seeking a results-oriented, data-driven Supply Chain Manager to own sourcing and supply management for critical Long Lead Equipment (LLE) supporting AWS Data Center build projects across the Americas region. As a member of the DCSP Team, you will manage the end-to-end supply chain for high-complexity, long-lead electrical distribution systems-including Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Long Lead Equipment. Your primary responsibility is to maintain unconstrained supply at AMER scale, ensuring these critical equipment categories are available to support AWS Data Center construction schedules. Technical understanding of the Electrical Equipment category and ability to analyze drawings and specifications is preferred. \nKey job responsibilities\nA successful candidate will demonstrate:\nSupply Chain Strategy & Execution\nDevelop and execute the global supply chain strategy for long lead equipment, delivering high-quality equipment solutions on time and at optimal costs\nManage end-to-end supply chain operations including supplier on-time delivery, capacity planning, logistics, inventory management, and lead time optimization\nAlign demand signals with supplier capacity to maintain unconstrained supply at AMER scale Supplier Management & Performance\nBuild and maintain strategic supplier relationships for assigned categories\nManage supplier performance and allocate equipment to demands based on priority\nProactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical electrical systems Cross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Design Engineering, Planning & Delivery, DCSP teams, and Delivery Management to support electrical infrastructure product roadmap development\nCollaborate with engineering, product managers, quality, and demand planning teams on procurement decisions\nInfluence supplier and technology selection to provide maximum benefit to AWS Continuous Improvement & Innovation\nDrive standardization initiatives across programs to reduce complexity and improve supply chain efficiency\nIdentify and implement innovative supply chain technologies and best practices to enhance flexibility and resilience\nMonitor industry trends and emerging technologies in electrical distribution to maintain competitive advantage Analytics & Decision Support\nDevelop predictive analytics models for demand forecasting and capacity planning\nCreate analytical reports that deliver actionable insights to business partners and stakeholders Support data-driven decision making for electrical equipment procurement Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets in which you engage.
