Our success depends on our world-class server infrastructure; we’re handling massive scale and rapid integration of emergent technologies.\nKey job responsibilities\nOwn the Nitro in server quality and capacity health for new server platforms entering production-scale data center environments.\n- Own the Nitro test coverage in servers\n- Own Vetting (HW tests in Data center) monitoring and debugging\n- Own deployment process of bug fixes , new features or tests at data centers\nCollaborate cross-functionally with hardware engineering, firmware, capacity planning, and infrastructure operations to align deployment readiness with business objectives.\nEstablish and track KPIs such as failure rates, test coverage, and integration velocity to continuously improve infrastructure readiness and time-to-market.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives across vetting, provisioning, and early-life testing workflows, automating manual processes wherever possible.\nDebug and root causing nitro card at high scale \nAbout the team\nOur Nitro Cards (\"K2\") are present in each server deployed at AWS, continuously innovating across new technologies, new server platforms, and new cloud services. \nNitro Cards serves critical roles in the server control plane and data path - delivering better performance, greater stability, and higher availability to customers at a global scale.\nWe work closely with the Nitro Silicon and Nitro Firmware and Software teams across definition, development, and mass production to optimize product value and accelerate time-to-market.\nWe learn from large-scale production health data and feed those insights back to continuously improve our products and processes.\nOur success depends on world-class designs and the ability to deliver them on time, at scale, and with the best possible value for our customers - handling massive scale and the rapid integration of emerging technologies.\nBasic qualifications\n- B.Sc. in Electrical / Computer / SW Engineering or related field.\n- At least 8 years in Electrical Design / System Integration / System engineering Experience in at least one area - HW / FW / SW\n- 3+ years’ experience working with systems and experience with their SW, FW and HW components\n- Basic skills in scripting: Python / Bash etc.\n- Experience in big data analysis , large scale analysis\nPreferred qualifications\n- Computer architecture knowledge\n- High-speed interfaces knowledge and debug capabilities- PCIe, Ethernet, DDR etc.\n- Experience with server (x86 / ARM) design or architecture\n- Experience with operating systems, boot loaders, networking, and remote debugging\n- Have experience with leveraging Gen AI into day to day tasks.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
