Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.\nThe Environmental Operations Manager will report to the re:Cycle Reverse Logistics Global EHS Manager and support environmental compliance across RRL operations. This role covers a range of environmental compliance programs including waste management, stormwater management, air quality compliance, spill prevention, and environmental permitting.\nKey job responsibilities\nSupport environmental compliance programs for re:Cycle Reverse Logistics by helping ensure operations meet applicable regulations and standards.\nAssist with compliance activities related to local, state, and federal environmental regulations, permit conditions, and Amazon policy for facilities managing end-of-life electronic equipment.\nSupport stormwater compliance programs, including SWPPP maintenance, routine inspections, and sampling activities.\nAssist with air quality compliance activities, including emissions tracking, permit compliance, and regulatory reporting.\nHelp develop and maintain SPCC plans and support spill prevention and countermeasure requirements.\nSupport ISO 14001 and R2 certification programs by helping maintain audit-ready conditions at assigned facilities.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of environmental standard operating procedures (SOPs), including waste handling and documentation procedures.\nSupport the proper handling, tracking, and disposition of Focus Materials (e.g., PCBs, mercury-containing devices, batteries, circuit boards) in accordance with applicable regulations.\nCollaborate with operations teams, the RRL Commercial Team, and other stakeholders to support audit findings and corrective actions.\nParticipate in environmental compliance audits and assist with follow-up activities.\nSupport the waste vendor vetting process, including vendor qualification reviews and compliance monitoring.\nCoordinate with the RRL HSSE team to help identify and mitigate environmental risks within work processes.\nAssist with the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and permit-related documentation.\nConduct environmental incident investigations and help develop corrective actions under guidance from senior team members.\nUse data and environmental best practices to support informed business decisions.
