# Technical Program Manager, AWS Security & Risk Compliance, AWS Security Risk & Compliance

At AWS, Security is priority zero. As part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security team, we are looking for a Technical Program Manager who is passionate about how AWS identifies, evaluates, and resolves security compliance risk, and wants to help build the systems that make it possible. The Risk and Compliance Remediation (RCR) team is moving from a reactive remediation function to a proactive, intelligence driven remediation engine that eliminates systemic security compliance risk at its root, before findings reach auditors, customers, or regulators. You will remediate technical security compliance issues across AWS service teams, working with builder teams to understand the technical gap, evaluate solutions, and negotiate an agreed remediation plan and timeline that closes the issue. You will also own the delivery of cross team technical remediation programs, and you will partner with engineering teams on engagements to improve AWS’s remediation tracking system, the source of truth for every issue. You will gather requirements, drive technical tradeoffs, and deliver improvements to that system and the automation built on it, translating compliance requirements and risk advisor
