Our manufacturing sites are primarily located within the distribution centers and are growing rapidly. In each site, our teams produce, control and ship the products ordered by our customers to the distribution centers.\nThese production sites are evolving rapidly and have a high level of quality requirements. We need the right type of leader to ensure we deliver to our customers reliably, while ensuring our teams deliver on customer obsession. \nKey job responsibilities\nSupport safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates\nFollow-up to ensure compliance and consistency for policies & procedures for Quality & Quality Management systems.\nCoordinate Quality across his sites in accordance with EU Quality network strategies\nMeasure Quality, integrity and accuracy to suggest improvements while providing proactive feedback to the Operations management team\nParticipate and lead network-wide & operations focused quality initiatives\nStrategic planning & forecasting about Quality, alongside assigning and directing work\nLead and supervise a team of Area Managers in ICQA functions within multiple MOD cells and drive performance\nDrive Quality process improvements and team member’s ability to keep pace with our rapid growth, while motivating others and reducing employee turnover\nReview & analyze customer complaints and any defect data, followed by development of corresponding action plans to reduce future incidents A day in the life Your roles & responsibilities:\nCollaborate with all department managers to identify and understand key projects, initiatives and system enhancements.\nEnsure KPI’s are reviewed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and perform quality analysis and/or behaviors/processes that could impact on Quality\nGain expertise in all MOD process paths\nLiaise with Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and general managers to aid the communication of all policies related to process discipline\nSupport in interviewing and hiring new managers\nBasic qualifications\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent\n- Experience in people management and team development\n- Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment\n- Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders\n- Experience in written and spoken English and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience hiring and developing strong talent and building a team\n- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment\n- Experience in project/program management, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, or Lean Six Sigma\nAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
