You will drive that vision into solid design deliverables, including multi-modal user interface designs and frameworks for voice and screen, interaction models, design specs, and prototypes. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing - both inside our organization and with partner teams.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience with early-stage product development for multi-modal consumer experiences and be passionate, focused, and relentless.\nKey job responsibilities\nDesign solutions for difficult design and technical problems where product strategy is not fully defined\nCreate conceptual sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes\nCollaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplines to drive alignment and efficiency\nDevelop and improve design patterns, standards, and processes that scale for your team\nConduct brainstorming sessions and present at cross-team reviews to demonstrate features and drive design decisions\nSynthesize qualitative and quantitative data (metrics, usability studies) to inform product-level customer experience decisions\nWork closely with engineering to incorporate capabilities and constraints of the technology stack\nBalance short- and long-term design requirements against engineering constraints\nBasic qualifications\n- 5+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience\n- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices\n- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity\n- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery\n- Experience as a design owner for UX and conversational design\n- Experience designing multi-modal product experiences, with conversancy in natural language conversation\nAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
