You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, ultimately enhancing the quality and reliability of our products.\nAs part of eero's mission to reinvent WiFi, you'll be making a difference in the fabric of the modern home.\nKey job responsibilities\nDevelop test plans for eero's whole home WiFi products\nDefine, implement WiFi test cases and support automation\nDevelop ad hoc tests to support engineering debug\nDrive decisions about testing improvements\nDrive projects from start to finish and guide team members\nInterface with software, TPM, vendors and management teams\nExecute WiFi test plans\nReport test results and plan status\nReview specs for FCC/ETSI regulatory compliance tests such as DFS, Adaptivity, CBP\nWrite detailed bug reports for engineering team\nSupport distributed development and QA teams\nA day in the life\nThe WiFi testing team is a lean team working on multiple aspects of the WiFi stack from integration, mac layer functionality, routing & networking to host layer application level validation to improve the user experience of our mesh solutions. You will be working in a fast paced environment and directly interacting with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders to drive decisions about the product.\nAbout the team\nThe WiFi team in eero provides the most secure, fast, reliable and complete WiFi router system to our customers. We innovate on behalf of our customers. The team members are working closely to provide the best customer experience. WiFi team owns from design & development to quality assurance with dedicated WiFi labs.\nBasic qualifications\n- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience\n- Experience in automation testing\n- Experience in manual testing\n- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)\n- 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience\n- 3+ Experience in manual testing\n- 3+ years of experience in maintaining & scaling up WiFi test labs\n- 3+ years of experience 802.11(ac/ax/be), Ethernet, Networking (DHCP, DNS, ARP, ICMP)\n- 3+ years of experience on installations of OS (linux/mac/windows)\n- 2+ years of experience with RF equipment and tools\n- 1+ year of experience with Python or Shell scripting\nPreferred qualifications\n- Experience in API & Mobile testing\n- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control\n- Experience with embedded firmware testing\n- Good understanding of 802.11 physical layer functionality\n- Having led projects end-to-end from bring-up to production\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field\n- Previous experience as WiFi lab bring up around performance, DFS areas, debugging and troubleshooting skills\n- Thrive in a fluid fast paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity and can shift gears quickly\n- Experience with build systems and REST API development (Not mandatory)\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
