multiplier to ship faster, debug smarter, and maintain higher code quality across projects.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend, from database schema to UI implementation\nTranslate UI/UX designs into responsive, performant, and accessible frontend interfaces using modern frameworks\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, ensuring robust data flow between client and server layers\nWrite well-structured, testable, and documented code adhering to Amber Creative's engineering standards and best practices\nUse AI coding tools — including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex — actively throughout the development lifecycle for code generation, refactoring, debugging, code review, and test writing\nParticipate in technical scoping and architecture discussions, contributing to decisions on stack selection, tooling, and delivery approach\nCollaborate closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver cohesive digital products on schedule\nConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain codebase quality and consistency\nIdentify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security vulnerabilities across the stack\nStay current with emerging development tools, AI coding assistants, and frontend/backend frameworks, and share learnings with the team\nSupport deployment pipelines and assist with CI/CD configuration, hosting, and environment management on platforms such as Vercel, AWS, or DigitalOcean\nContribute to technical documentation including architecture notes, API references, and onboarding guides\nRequired competencies and qualifications\nDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience\n2–4+ years of hands-on full stack development experience, with a portfolio of shipped web applications\nProficiency in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (React, Next.js, Vue, or equivalent)\nSolid backend experience in Node.js, Python, PHP, or equivalent, with working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)\nDemonstrated, practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or OpenAI Codex — not just awareness, but integrated daily use in real development workflows\nAbility to critically evaluate, verify, and refactor AI-generated code — understanding its limitations and taking ownership of output quality\nFamiliarity with version control using Git and collaborative workflows (branching, PRs, code review)\nStrong problem-solving ability with a methodical approach to debugging and root cause analysis\nGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment\nPreferred competencies and qualifications\nExperience with agentic coding workflows — using Claude Code or Codex in multi-step, autonomous development tasks beyond single-prompt completions\nFamiliarity with prompt engineering techniques applied to code generation, including context management, system prompts, and iterative refinement for complex tasks\nExposure to AI/ML API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic) for building AI-powered product features\nUnderstanding of web security
