This includes creating work assignments, personnel support and management, timekeeping, addressing safety concerns, ensuring manufacturing efficiency and that product is being built to the specifications.\nResponsibilities and Essential Functions:\nReport production data into production reporting system.\nResponsible for responding to employee concerns, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when necessary and following up with employees during this process. \nResponsible for performance management for production employees, such as administering corrective actions, personnel improvement plans and appreciation for good work.\nMonitor productivity and performance levels of the team in relation to production targets and quality levels.\nConducts documented conversations with employees to address absenteeism and offer support when needed. \nGives work assignments to production assemblers in accordance to the staffing plan.\nFoster an environment of open communication with all employees.\nMaintains product quality by enforcing organizational standards.\nMaintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment and resources.\nEnsures that production personnel are wearing proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) at all times.\nResolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.\nEnsure that time and attendance occurrences are accurately recorded on the employee’s timecards.\nReview/correct employee timecards to ensure time is accurately recorded.\nEnsure all manufacturing resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.\nSupport the supervisor and act as a supervisor fill in when needed.\nSupport training functions and the Training Lead when needed.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nAuthorities:\nStop production when product is not meeting the quality specifications.\nDiscard products that have been damaged, contaminated or do not conform to product specifications.\nDiscipline and terminate employees in accordance with company policy and involvement from the next level up of leadership\nSummon maintenance technicians as needed.\nReport safety, quality or other concerns on the line side or department boards and responsible personnel. \nWork Environment:\nThis is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.\nQualifications:\nHighschool diploma or equivalent.\n5 years of related experience.\nExperience working in the medical device industry preferred. \nAbility to stand for long periods of time and walk regularly throughout the work day.\nMust be able to speak, read, write and understand
