Do you want to make a difference to patients across Europe by securing efficient warehousing and shipping execution in a 3PL setup?\nYou will be part of the Global Distribution team in Global Supply Chain. In this role, you will coordinate daily warehousing and shipping activities, resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement across our European distribution setup. You will work closely with our 3PL partners, carriers, internal Supply Chain stakeholders and IT teams.\nThis position offers an opportunity to build broad expertise across warehousing, transportation, ERP processes and 3PL operations, while contributing directly to reliable customer delivery and Ambu’s growth journey.\nKey responsibilities\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nContinuously optimize Distribution processes and workflows, ensuring efficient, scalable and compliant operations across warehousing and transportation.\nLead root-cause investigations of operational issues, recurring deviations and service challenges, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.\nCoordinate and support cross-functional projects related to distribution, logistics, systems and process optimization, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment.\nDrive implementation of new processes, workflows, system enhancements and operational requirements, including user testing, documentation, training and adoption support.\nPartner with internal stakeholders, 3PL providers and carriers to identify opportunities that improve service, quality, cost and customer experience.\nMonitor key operational metrics and improvement initiatives, providing insights and recommendations that support continuous performance improvement.\nSuggested candidate profile\nSkills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:\nSolid experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping or transportation operations, preferably within a 3PL setup\nExperience in use of ERP systems and knowledge of operational system flows\nExperience from a global manufacturing, healthcare or regulated environment is a plus\nAbility to manage daily and occasionally operational tasks and exceptions with a structured, systematic and detail-oriented approach\nStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational follow-up and continuous improvement\nGood stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across external partners and global teams\nFluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage\nAmbu - a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matter\nAmbu is a company that expands rapidly and has ambitious growth targets.
