This includes mechanical design, electrical design, manufacturing process design and managing engineering data across these subprocesses and across our IT systems, primarily our PLM. Specific subprocesses within the PLM include creation of EBOM, translation of EBOM to MBOM and product master data management.\nYou play a key role in translating business needs into robust, scalable processes aligned with global standards.\nWorking closely with the Global Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, technical workstream leads, and stakeholders across functions and geographical sites, you will contribute to process design, support implementation, and help ensure adoption of new ways of working.\nThis is a high-impact role where functional expertise meets cross-functional collaboration, and where you actively contribute to driving process excellence across Ambu.\nKey responsibilities\nProcess design and domain expertise (primary focus)\nEnsure the design process integrates into the global product development process\nProvide deep functional expertise and ensure high-quality process documentation and standards\nContribute to defining future-state processes and capabilities that allow our engineers to design products effectively, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.\nEstablish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the Design Processes that setup our engineers for success.\nContinuous improvement and execution support\nIdentify and drive improvements that improve the product, reduce time to market and ensure regulatory compliance. \nSupport implementation of process changes and ensure adoption across regions and sites\nFacilitate workshops and collaboration across functions to refine and improve processes\nContribute to building a culture of continuous improvement\nStakeholder collaboration\nWork closely with stakeholders across functions, regions, and sites to ensure alignment\nSupport communication and anchoring of process changes in the organisation\nAct as a key contributor in transformation initiatives and projects\nEnsure effective collaboration between global and local teams\nSuggested candidate profile\nYou are likely to succeed in this role if you:\n7+ years of experience from industry or consulting, working within PLM-powered product design\nA strong combination of functional domain expertise and an interest in process design and improvement\nExperience from a similar or related role in an industrial or global organization is preferred, especially from within the medical device industry\nSolid experience working with cross-functional processes and stakeholders in a global context\nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in process design and documentation\nA collaborative mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders and support alignment across functions and regions\nA proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a continuous improvement mindset\nWillingness to travel regularly as part of a global role, supporting collaboration and implementation across Ambu’s footprint (including the US, Malaysia, China, and Mexico)\nComfortable working across time zones, with flexibility to occasionally engage outside standard working hours\nStrong communication skills in English, both written and spoken\nAmbu - a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matter\nAmbu is a company experiencing rapid growth with ambitious targets.
