You will set the commercial direction for new product, ensuring that user and customer needs are central to every stage of development.Success in this role means working closely with R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs and Sustainability to create strong value propositions and go-to-market strategies that turn innovation into real impact. You’ll join a collaborative team that values creativity and excellence, reporting to the Vice President of Urology Business Area in Global Marketing\nMain Responsibilities:\nAct as the commercial lead in new product development projects, setting the strategic direction of your product area to ensure a successful launch.\nTranslate customer insights and unmet needs into actionable product and design requirements.\nLead and facilitate advisory boards and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) during development.\nDevelop business cases and portfolio scenarios to support strategic decision-making.\nConduct early-phase market and customer investigations to identify opportunities, user needs, and market potential.\nDrive Launch Excellence by defining clear value propositions, product claims, and messaging frameworks.\nPost-launch, continue to optimize performance through customer feedback, data insights, and lifecycle management\nSuggested candidate profile:\nSkills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have: \nStrong commercial, product management, or clinical experience within MedTech or healthcare.\nExperience from Endoscopy is a prerequisite, additional experience in Urology is a strong advantage\nA track record of leading product innovation projects from concept to launch.\nYou have participated in or led innovation projects from early concept to launch, enabling you to balance customer insights, technical considerations, and business priorities.\nAbility to turn complex user needs into clear commercial recommendations, using your strategic mindset and business acumen to drive informed decisions across a global matrix organization\nA master’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field.\nStrategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and curiosity about clinical and market trends.\nA collaborative mindset and the ability to align stakeholders in a matrix environment.\nExcellent English communication skills and a global outlook.\nWillingness to travel up to 20% to conferences, customer visits, and global subsidiaries.\nAmbu - a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matter\nAmbu is on an ambitious growth journey, expanding globally and pushing the boundaries of innovation in healthcare.
