Headquartered near Copenhagen in Denmark, Ambu employs approximately 4,500 people in Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific.\nObjective:\nThe Senior Finance Controller provides financial leadership and oversight for the Noblesville, Indiana manufacturing operation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and effective management of plant financial performance. This position oversees manufacturing costs, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, month-end financial activities, and audit support while partnering with plant leadership to drive improved financial and operational results.\nResponsibilities and Essential Functions:\nProvide financial leadership and business partnership to plant leadership, including analysis of financial and operational performance and recommendations for improvement.\nOversee product cost and manufacturing financial performance, including material usage, scrap, direct labor, and other direct costs.\nLead analysis and reporting of Material Usage Variances (MUV), labor variances, labor efficiency, and labor utilization, identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.\nOversee inventory control for USNV and Ambu Inc., including inventory accuracy, variances, valuation, reconciliations, and tooling inventory.\nLead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including product cost, indirect costs, and CapEx, and provide guidance to department leaders.\nProvide month-end financial support, including financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and communication of results to plant leadership.\nIdentify and implement process improvements that strengthen financial controls, improve efficiency, and enhance plant financial performance.\nProvide financial training, coaching, and support to engineers, managers, directors, and other business leaders to improve financial understanding and decision-making.\nEnsure financial activities and decisions align with company policies, objectives, and overall Ambu goals.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive financial or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in plant finance, manufacturing finance, financial controlling, or cost accounting preferred.\nStrong knowledge of inventory control, manufacturing cost accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.\nExperience analyzing material usage, labor variances, labor efficiency, and labor utilization.\nExperience supporting internal and external audits and financial controls.\nStrong analytical, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand
